TRIPUNITHURA: Radha Lakshmi Vilasam (RLV) College of Music and Fine Arts is getting ready to be shifted to a spacious well-designed campus following the efforts taken by K Babu MLA.
The institution, established in 1936, was in a bad condition. Classrooms were divided with a thin plywood sheets. The fine arts wing with three graduate courses and two postgraduate courses has been functioning in a small shed. The new building has a performance hall and a permanent art gallery.
Moreover, the most modern computer lab specially designed for the students of applied arts will help them mould their creative mind in tune with the demand of marketing techniques. “We expect the inauguration of the institute this academic year.’’ Babu said.
